About me
Hello, I’m Dr. Lucy Flitton—Psychotherapist, Psychologist & Positive Psychology Coach

Psychotherapeutic Counsellor
From a young age, I’ve been captivated by the human condition—how we each experience, perceive, and interact with the world around us. This fascination led me to train first as a Psychotherapeutic Counsellor, where I gained hands-on experience helping individuals navigate life’s emotional and psychological challenges.
compassionate, person-centered approach
Eager to deepen my understanding of the brain and human behavior, I continued my studies and qualified as a Psychologist. During my training, I volunteered with various organizations, including substance abuse rehabilitation services, domestic violence and sexual abuse services, and child and adolescent mental health services (CAMHS). This diverse background helped me develop a trauma-informed lens and a compassionate, person-centered approach.
- I have since been awarded a Doctorate in Philosophy and Art, further broadening my perspective on the complexities of human experience. To complement my therapeutic work, I also pursued training as a Positive Psychology Coach, allowing me to integrate solution-focused tools and strengths-based methods into my practice.

My Approach
- Integrative & Trauma-Informed: I draw on multiple modalities, tailoring therapy to each individual’s unique history, needs, and goals.
- Positive Psychology Focus: By emphasizing resilience, values, and meaning, I help my clients cultivate a hopeful vision for the future.
- Safe & Non-Judgmental Space: Whether you’re working through trauma, seeking ADHD assessment, or looking for coaching support, I’m committed to creating a nurturing environment where you can explore your thoughts and feelings freely.
I believe that with the right support, every individual can heal, grow, and move toward a more authentic and fulfilling life.
